Somerset Long Bay Beach

Although these beaches are indeed gorgeous, there are many more that are equally beautiful. One of these beaches is Somerset Long Bay Beach. Tucked away at the end of a little windy road in Somerset, is this soft white sand beach with shallow water and peaceful surroundings. We have taken our kids here many times and often in the summer we have spotted turtles and fish in the water, really close to the beach. You can walk along the beach, shoreline snorkel on the eastern side of the beach and relax in the shade of trees looking out over the turquoise water.
There is also a playground for the little ones, set back from the grassy area. This is a great off-the-beaten path beach, especially for cruise ship visitors in Dockyard, as it’s only about a 10-minute cab ride away from the ship.
You can come here on one of our boats or you can come from the main land. Either way, we think you will really enjoy this little slice of paradise!
