Shoreline Snorkeling

We believe that offshore snorkeling is amazing, but we also find snorkeling along the shoreline to be equally exciting.
Along the shoreline is where you will find sea anemones, juvenile fish, turtles and maybe the odd sea snail. If you hover over the edge of the shoreline, with as little movement as possible, you’ll see lots of young fish crowding the rocks and sea life scenery.
A great spot we discovered this summer was in Somerset, on the western side of the Great Sound, tucked away in a little cove. Here you could snorkel around large rock formations and discover coves and crevices full of sea life. Very exciting for young and old.
